Cookie Policy
Last updated 2026-06-03
We use the minimum cookies needed to run Customs OS securely, plus privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores on your device. Some are essential for the service to function; others are optional. We describe ours below.
2. Cookies and storage we use
- Session cookie (strictly necessary)— keeps you signed in and secures the session. Set by Customs OS; up to 90 days, rolling.
- Session cache (strictly necessary)— a short-lived performance cache that avoids re-reading your session on every request. Set by Customs OS; 5 minutes.
- customs-os-language (functional)— remembers your language preference, including server-side to prevent a flash of the wrong language. Set by Customs OS; 1 year.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (strictly necessary)— bot and abuse protection on sign-in, sign-up, and password-reset. Set by Cloudflare; session / short-lived.
- Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless)— aggregate, anonymous usage measurement. Does not set identifying cookies.
- Vercel Speed Insights (cookieless)— aggregate performance measurement. Does not set identifying cookies.
We do not set advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party cross-site trackers on product surfaces.
3. Your choices
Because the product uses only strictly necessary and functional cookies, and analytics is cookieless and non-identifying, the service does not require a consent banner to function lawfully. You can still:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (which will sign you out and reset your language preference).
- Contact privacy@customsos.com with any question about this policy.
4. Changes
We will update this page if our cookie use changes, and revise the “last updated” date. See also our Privacy Policy.
